Description

David Hornbeck took office as President and CEO of IYF in October 2003. IYF is a public foundation dedicated to bringing resources and attention to the needs of young people around the globe. Previously he served as Superintendent of the Philadelphia Public Schools for six years, and State Superintendent of Schools in Maryland for twelve years. David is Chairman of the Children's Defense Fund and the Public Education Network. The title of his lecture is "Grassroots for Social Justice in Schools."
